“I come from a village in the hills of Ambatondrazaka where my family are farmers. I finished middle school with high marks for mathematics but I never went to high school. Instead I became a farmer like my parents, working in the fields to earn money to support the education of my younger siblings.
I like being at Onja. I miss my family but there is a good atmosphere here. We are similar to each other. Everyone is friendly, not jealous like some of my classmates in my hometown.
My best friend is called Rosny. I have known Rosny since I was 3. We are from the same village. When we were both 15 we had to repeat our middle school exams. We realised we have so many things in common, like we have both never cut our hair.
So it is very special that we both got selected for Onja!”
